Welcome to the new world, it’s the end of a decade across the world and we present to you a new form of community. Everyone’s blathering about having way too many net accounts to check, bugging about how many twitter updates they have to do. Well we may not stack up with Livejournal, FaceBook, YouTube or any other social network- but we try to do our best. From forums to a private messaging system, online games and galleries and other goodies to come, we invite you to check out everything we have to offer.
We’ve gone down a long road since our first seedling into socialization in 2008, with varied ways of making our community and blogs work – we’ve had a lot of road blocks as well. Recently being victim to a malware attack, we were forced to rebuild from the ground up, a hard task considering we’d had a year’s worth under our belt previously.
We’re now in our second year on the internet, and we’ve reworked our new community to feature things we’d never thought possible in our own way. Bridging gaps and cracks within the visual asian culture communities on the internet, making it possible to connect everyone. We’re not here to bowl over, shove over or even take over – we’re here to be here for you, and be a part of a community.
If you have something you would like to contribute, we more than welcome you to come on board and help us grow our new community. Whether you just want to register and be a part of the forums, lurk or even be an author we welcome everyone and anyone. Sadly , yes we even do welcome those that want to do harmful viral attacks at our place. Why? We’re stupidly just that nice, set them down drug them with sake and make them see why we’re not worth the attacks – then they’ll quit hopefully!
We thank you for your continued support, and hope to see many of you that we’ve met before – on our community. Our original forums had with credit, used several asian culture related folders of 100x100 icons provided by several LJ icon making communities. Kamijo mentioned in his blog that he will have a solo interview in the next Rock & Read, which goes on sale on December 24th.

Next season, actor Kazuki Kitamura (40) will finally have his first starring role in a television drama series. The show, titled "Shukumei 1969-2010 ~Once Upon A Time In Tokyo~," will air on TV Asahi.

Kitamura plays the role of Takashi Arikawa, an elite financial bureaucrat who is also the son of the head of one of Japan's largest medical corporations. With his intelligence, looks, and wealth, he has been destined for power in the political arena. Although the show starts out in the present day, it also looks far back into the past of Arikawa and his family.

The series will start on January 15, airing Friday nights at 9:00pm.

Popular model and TV personality Rinka, 36, was named one of Japan’s Fashion Leaders 2009 this week along with actresses Ryoko Hirosue, 29, and Ryo, 36, at an event at Roppongi Hills. Readers of women’s magazines, including “sweet,” “InRed,” and “spring,” voted for the trio.

Rinka was welcomed with congratulations on her engagement by an audience of 300. Rinka, who is set to marry a construction company employee in January, thanked the audience, saying, “We’ve been dating for a long time, so it’s hard to get excited all of a sudden, but I’m really happy!” The model said she was well on her way with her wedding preparations.

The host of the event, Junichi Ishida, 55, said he has yet to get too involved in preparations for his own marriage to golfer Riko Higashio, 34, in a ceremony that is scheduled to take place next May at a winery in Napa Valley, California. “We’re going to take a look around at wineries next month,” he said.

今日はドイツのクリスマスについて書きたいと思います。
この前、クリスマスの習慣の起源を調べていました。結果を読んですごくビックリしました！どうやら、クリスマスの習慣の起源は大半がドイツ語圏(オーストリアとドイツ)です。Ｔａｎｎｅｎｂａｕｍ(クリスマスツリー)やカロル(Ｓｔｉｌｌｅ　Ｎａｃｈｔとか)は全部ドイツ語圏からなんです。私もぜんぜん知りませんでした！(⌒▽⌒;)

ドイツのクリスマスはアメリカのと違います。クリスマスは１２月２４日です。クリスマスイブはプレゼントをもらえます。２４日にプレゼントを持ってくるのはサンタさんではありません！「Ｃｈｒｉｓｔｋｉｎｄ」という空想の人物がプレゼントを持って来ます。天使みたいな人物なんです。
普通、クリスマスは家族と一緒に過ごします。教会にも行って、特別な美味しい晩ご飯を食べます。晩ご飯の後でベルの音が聞こえるとやっとリビングに入れます！そこにはクリスマスツリーやプレゼントがあります。
Ｃｈｒｉｓｔｋｉｎｄを追い出さないように、リビングは晩ご飯の後まで鍵がかけてあります。それで、静かにプレゼントを持って来られるのです。
プレゼントを開ける前に、家族の全員はカロルを歌います。
Ｃｈｒｉｓｔｋｉｎｄはサンタさんよりかわいいでしょうか。
それに、２４日の晩にプレゼントをもらえるほうが楽だと思います。
２５日の朝まで待たなければならない人々はきっとぜんぜん眠れないでしょうね。（；^ω^）

もちろん、ドイツでもサンタさんが来ますよ！ただ、それは２５日ではなく、１２月６日なんです。その日、サンタさんは若い子供たちを叱ります。ちょっとだけ怖いのです。（；^ω^）　
「今年いい子にしていましたか。」や「お母さんをよく手伝ってあげましたか。」と厳しく聞きます。「はぁ・・(≧∇≦)ノ ハーイ♪」と答えて、サンタさんは大きい袋からプレゼントバッグを出します。そのバッグの中はナッツ、みかんや小さいプレゼント(冬物の靴下とか)です。
普通、サンタさんだけが来ます。でも悪いサンタさんもいます。名は「Ｋｎｅｃｈｔ　Ｒｕｐｒｅｃｈｔ」で、英語で「Ｂｌａｃｋ　Ｓａｎｔａ」なんです。あいつは本当にいやな奴です！悪い子をつかまえて、枝みたいな物で殴ります。
怖い話だけれども、今時Ｋｎｅｃｈｔ　Ｒｕｐｒｅｃｈｔはあまり何もしません。
子供の頃もただ遠くから見ていました。でも、母は子供のときに、一度捕まりました。本当に怖かったでしょうね。（；^ω^）
親にとってはいい躾の方法なんですが！
「ちゃんと宿題をしないのなら、今年、サンタさんの代わりにブラックサンタが来るでしょう。」と子供たちに言います。ｗｗｗ　（；^ω^）

１２月１日からクリスマスまでの間は「Ａｄｖｅｎｔ」と言います。
ドイツでもいくつかのほかの国でも「Ａｄｖｅｎｔｓｋａｌｅｎｄｅｒ」と「Ａｄｖｅｎｔｓｋｒａｎｚ」があります。



「Ａｄｖｅｎｔｓｋａｌｅｎｄａｒ」は１２月１日から２４日までのカレンダーなんです。
特別なカレンダーです。２４個の窓があります。毎日、該当する窓を開けます。Ａｄｖｅｎｔｓｋａｌｅｎｄａｒにはいくつか種類があります。窓の中には何が隠れているでしょうか。絵タイプ、 チョコレートタイプや小さいプレゼントタイプもありますよ！子供たちの待ち時間を緩和します。



大人にはＡｄｖｅｎｔｓｋｒａｎｚがあります。モミから手作りの物です。クリスマスツリーみたいに飾ることができます。ろうそくを四つ立てます。
１２月、日曜日ごとにろうそくを一つ点けます！♪

「Advent, Advent, ein Lichtlein brennt.
Erst eins, dann zwei, dann drei, dann vier -
dann steht das Christkind vor der Tür.」

←これは有名な歌なんです。縮めて言えば、一つ、二つ、三つ、四つのろうそくが点くと、Ｃｈｒｉｓｔｋｉｎｄがやっと来ます。クリスマスが来ました！

手作りのクリスマスクッキーが懐かしいです！食べたいです！(｀・ω・´)

One month after the release of Aitakute Ima, MISIA will be releasing her twenty-fourth single. Titled Hoshi no You ni..., the single will be out Decemeber 16 and will come in both a regular edition and a limited edition. The limited edition will include a special Ultraman figure. The regular edition will come with a currently unknow first-press bonus. Hoshi no You ni... is being used as the theme song to the movie Daikaiju BATTLE ULTRA Ginga Densetsu THE MOVIE.
